Q: Why am I being asked in multiple places to update my profile?
A: At this time, you may be asked to update on separate pages, because as a member you actually have three separate accounts that are merged under one. The three types of accounts are: Shopping Account, Site Account, and Forum Account.
Shopping Account: This account is for placing orders.
Site Account: This account is your personal profile.
Forum Account: This account is for our discussion board.
Q: How do I post a link on my wall?
A: Very easy! In order for your URL to turn into a hyperlink, you will need to include http:// in front of the link. For example, http://yourdomain.com. If you do not include the beginning part, your link will only show up in text version.
Q: Am I able to post images and text together?
A: Yes! To post text with your image, type or copy and paste your text in the status field, afterward, select the media icon to add your image. Once it shows up underneath the status field, you can click ‘Post Update’ to post it to your wall or wait a few seconds and it will automatically post.
Q: I am trying to view a page, but I keep getting directed to the same/different page. Is there something wrong?
A: No, you are not experiencing an error on our site! If this is happening, that means that you are trying to access a page or area that you do not have permission to view. Some content on MzJetson.Com are for Members only. Register or log into your account and try to access the page again.
Q: I have permission to view a page or section but I am unable to access it. What can I do?
A: Please contact us if you are experiencing this issue.
Q: Can anyone create a group?
A: Anyone who is a registered member of MzJetson.Com will have the capability to create groups without approval. However, if we come across a group that isn’t related to books, you will be contacted before a decision is made to delete your group.
Q: How do I create a group?
A: To create a group, visit the Groups page and click on ‘Create a Group.’ You will be able to include your Group’s name, description, visibility setting, and more!
Q: Does MzJetson.Com groups have visibility capabilities?
A: Yes! When you create your group, you will have the option to make your group Public, Private or Hidden.
Public Groups: Are shown on the Groups page to all visitors. Visitors can view this type of group, but only members can post.
Private Groups: Are shown on the Groups page to all member. Only members can view and post in this type of group.
Hidden Groups: Are not shown on the Groups page. Members cannot request to join this type of group. Invites can be sent to other members that are on your friends list.
Q: I am trying to log into my account, but the system isn’t recognizing my password.
A: If you are unable to log into your account, you may try resetting your password or registering for a new account. All accounts created prior to September 19th, have been deleted.
Q: I requested membership by registration form, but haven’t received any information regarding my account. Please help!
A: We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Visitors who apply for membership via form must allow 48 hours to receive an email confirmation regarding your active account. If it has been past 48 hours, please contact us!
Q: If I registered by form, but now want to log in with a Social Media account, is that possible?
A: Yes and no. For any members that has a Facebook or Google account, you will be able to log into your MzJetson.Com account as long as your email address matches. If you have a different email address than what is listed on your MzJetson.Com account, a new account will automatically be created.
A new account will be created for Registered Members that would like to login afterward with a Twitter account. Twitter creates its own email from your Twitter account which registers with ours, unfortunately. We would recommend logging in the initial way that you registered.
