Amara Harper has a problem; Noah Farrington. Well not exactly. I mean, he is the love of her life. Passion-filled days and nights are all she can think about when she is close to him. But so is fear. Fear of him taking her heart and ripping it to pieces– so she decides that leaving him and his love for her alone, is the best thing for her.
But love is a mercurial thing, it has a way of pulling back up to you when you think you have deserted it, which is what happens when Amara finds a reason to work with Noah on an upcoming project at work.
Things that complicate this even more? Keith her current boyfriend, and “the past” which she seems to want to also run away from as much as she runs away from Noah. Can Amara overcome her fears and give into what makes her feel whole? Can she finally begin to trust the love that Noah has always had for her?

Review: Noah is the perfect package, but fear is blocking Amara pursing a relationship with her soul mate. Amara’s story is very well developed and once you have a glimpse into her past her fear becomes crystal clear. Until that point you will be upset with her! Noah is a caring, patient, sexy and loving man. He is willing to drop everything for Amara and give her what she needs. I loved his character.

Review: Aja the storyline was wonderfully orchestrated, I was immediately drawn into the drama whether it was in the kitchen with her grandmother or anywhere Amara and Noah’s steamy escapades took place. It was easy to see how someone’s past could dictate their future, but to see her overcome it triumphantly through your eyes was beautiful! Thanks again for a magnificent read, looking forward to future books.

If I were to tell you I wrote a story about a May/December love affair between music and a saxophone named Her, would you believe me? I didn’t think you would but it’s true. Music has been here since the dawn of time. It’s been the melody of life, unfettered, free, and always waiting for us to-dare I say-tame it and guide it with our voices and with our instruments. The musician may have picked up the sax and breathed air into Her, but it was from the music, the jazz that was created, that love was found and where it grew.
Amina Perrin isn’t looking for love. In fact, she isn’t looking for anything. She’s got her yoga, her massage therapy and the community she serves, keeping her plenty busy. That is until she bumps into a stranger who may change her free-spirited mind.
Gabriel Slade is living the good life. Financially secure, nice condo overlooking the city, and the occasional “drink” with a beautiful woman—he has no intention on getting caught up, especially not with one so much younger than him, but here he is… getting all caught up and picking up a long forgotten saxophone he calls Her.
If you’re opposed to sweltering love scenes between two passionate adults, this book isn’t for you.

Review: This was a well written book based on two individuals that in spite of their age difference came together and showed each other how to love…when their two worlds meet it’s sensual combustion that just seems to go on and on…Gabriel and Amina has a love story like no other…although it seems to start out with sex, it does evolve into a more meaningful relationship, where neither seem to want to say out loud what they’re feeling in their hearts. The fact that the family supports them both is amazing and just wonderful. . Aja took two individuals from two different worlds and made them work in unity…love love love this book!
Review: What a wonderful good read that this author gives the readers. I will say this story was about Amina and Gabriel’s romance where it seems like age comes into play. I found this story to be well written that one can easily find it a very realistic and more so very relatable read. What will happen when Amina bumps into Gabriel during their first meeting? I enjoyed how this author brings in both sides of the family members that gives the story such a realness of how life really can be for any two people when opposites attract. The secondary characters were really a interesting bunch being well developed and well portrayed helping to move the story along with great interest also I don’t want to forget to bring in the mix of musical selections and especially that humorous scene after a yoga visit. Now, I will stop there and say you will have to pick up ‘Good Old Soul’ to read and find out all there is to know about this good read. Be ready for a sweet read with ‘romance, love and plenty of hot sex.’ By the end will these two Amina and Gabriel get their HEA? Pick this read up to read for yourself how well this author delivers it to the reader.

Review: The story I just read so sinfully soulfully sexy. Amina was 20 years younger than Gabriel, but one could not tell based on their chemistry and connection. I could feel them growing closer to one another with each chapter. May, December romances can be a beautiful thing if they are anything like this couple. Whew…
(A NEW YEAR NOVELLA) Struggle with him, they said. Build with him, they said. Support him, they said. I did all that, and you know what I got? A grown boy on my couch. – Jersey
Jersey knew her relationship with Capo wasn’t worth the lies he fed her on a daily basis, but she stayed, praying every night that he would change. This was the man sent to be her forever love, he had to be. After all, that’s what he told her every time he got caught. Every time she took him back he swore he would change, every time he would do better. Love makes things happen, right? Especially Capo’s. Capo’s love made things happen all over Indianapolis.
I moved bricks for you, hit licks for you. Even left all my side chicks for you. – Loyalty
Loyalty and Brii were known on the streets of the ‘Nap as Briyalty. She was his Bonnie, he was her Clyde, through it all they stayed down to ride. Lately Brii started making moves without him; sneaking around the city and coming home with things she didn’t have when she left. Things like money, diamonds, cars and a baby that looked nothing like him. When she admitted that she was the proud side piece of ‘Nap Town’s top crime boss, Loyalty understood the true meaning of karma.
Laying eyes on her for the first time since high school, Loyalty saw something in Jersey that he hadn’t seen in all his years on the streets. She had that sexiness, that confidence, that independence….she would be the one to put his life back into balance since Brii left. Everything about Loyalty screamed Capo to Jersey when he asked if she needed a ride. No way was she about to jump out the frying pan and into the fire, it wasn’t worth her sanity. 2017 was a wrap, she had to start making moves in 2018 to better herself as a woman. A relationship with Loyalty, Capo or anybody else wasn’t a part of her future. When a life or death situation hits close to home, Jersey finally sees what she needs in her life. Does Capo grow up to be the man she knows she deserves? Or does she give Loyalty a chance to live up to his name?

Review: This was a wonderful book. This book had me looking at all of my past relationships. Jersey did a whole lot for Capo and he just took her for granted. The way she found out about his kids was crazy as hell. Capo made his bed and now he had to at in it. Kish was just a ghetto chick who didn’t want to work and live off the government all her life. And Loyalty is my new book bae. He is a true definition of knight in shining armor. I’m so glad he took Vega’s advice to get with his dream woman. Vega made a great decision in the end to move so no one knew where he lived in the end. Bri just needed some major help with her life. I felt sorry for her, but she is a grown woman and needs to get it together.
