Synopsis: It’s been almost four years. Four years of abandonment, rejection, torture and no hope for Monet. That is until Fabian returns home only to learn his first love, his mother, is dying of cancer. He never once regretted leaving. It was either that or prison, so he chose the first one, moving on and finding love. Or so he thought.
Soon his path crosses with Monet. She’s more than just a pretty face with the body of a goddess. She’s his best friend, his confidant, the angel clipped from his life that fell from heaven. He just didn’t know it until her presence shook up his world and left him hungry for love— her love.
Unfortunately, Monet being one of his father’s top “girls” can’t see herself as lovable and his girlfriend Cheyenne or his father Joseph won’t make it easy for him to walk away.
Does Monet finally escape even if it comes with a price? Or will the life she chose to live and commit to destroy Fabian’s life, too?
Review: This was an okay story, started off a little slow to me.. Fabian was something else.. And who is this character C??? Hmmm . 25 years is a long time.

Review: This was my first time reading anything from this author and I have to say I was not impressed. From the very beginning this book had was too many grammatical errors. There were misspelled words, omitted words, run on sentences and punctuation errors, just to name a few of the issues. This alone made it very difficult for me to read and I almost wanted to stop reading. I felt like I was reading the rough draft before the book made it to editing and review. It was also very slow in the beginning and I had difficulty remaining focused and even continue reading. I was halfway through the book before it started to get interesting. The story line was was somewhat different. The relationship between this young woman and who was basically a prostitute for the man who raised her and her one true love. Can't say I've read anything like it before. There was a lot going on and each character had their own back story. I think it would have helped if these stories had been outlined early on rather than details be explained later into the story. Although the story of Fabian and Monet is supposed to be the highlight, I am more interested in the love triangle between Edwin, Dice and Roosevelt. Hopefully this author can come back stronger in part two.

In this finale, these couples go on a roller coaster emotional trip from their past to present time, fighting to get what they all say they want but can’t struggle to have. That’s love.
Monet’s no longer in “the life”, but it doesn’t mean that things are going so well for her. As she struggles to accept the love Fabian has for her, he forgets it was he who taught her she had control over her own life. Unfortunately, their silent tug of war allows for a few outsiders to get in the way, possibly ruining whatever future they may have.
Dice is pregnant. That’s the one thing they all know, but who’s the father remains unknown. While she remains totally in love with Edwin, that one night, that mistake she made with Roosevelt could be the end of the infamous, Alpha and Omega. It doesn’t help that Leah, Roosevelt’s girlfriend, gets caught in the crossfire. She loves Roosevelt, but she can’t but wonder if he loves her, too.
Joan, now cancer free, fights her way back to finding herself. She soon, however, discovers that she’s straddling between what she loves versus what she knows. The more she does, the more dark secrets are revealed. Secrets that make it difficult for her to choose her first love and Fabian’s father, Christian, while letting go of her husband, Joseph, who’s out for blood. That blood being her own flesh and blood, her son, Fabian.
What started out as a re-release, took a dramatic turn, now consisting of new events and even a new ending. Some answers are revealed and some are not. Who knows, maybe a spin off is coming. Whatever happens, you won’t be disappointed because somewhere out there, someone gets a happily ever after ending.

Review: Now Tisha knows she the petty queen for that ending. I loved the maturity that Ed, Ro and Dice displayed with handling the situation at hand. Leah is truly an awesome woman with great courage.Fab is still bae although some things he should gave discussed with Mo. Monet is growing but needs to verbally express way more than she does. Ronnie was actually good for her my belief as a friend. Now this little circle has gotten even bigger because the connections are crazy OMG!!! Secrets are silent killers truly. Great job.

Review: Yassss come through boo ! Sorry for my delayed review but you already knew I was coming. Not giving too much away but this was everything. I’m proud of Ro and Edwin for making amends. Mo need to get it together tho. Running before she had the details. Fabian needs to let her know what’s up tho. Man I can’t wait to see what happens in part 3. I still hate Joseph and Chy but Cherry/Tracey has been added to that list.

This is a re-release with revised scenes.

Review: Wow! It’s about to go DOWN in the MIA!!! Man, I don’t even know where to begin. I know Fabian and Moet were the focal point, but I’m more interested in the whole Dice, Roosevelt and Edwin love triangle. Dice has gotten herself in a big a$$ mess. I like her, but damn, just because your job is being a ho, doesn’t mean you have to be one outside of work. SMH. What the hell did she think would happen? I like both Roosevelt and Edwin, but man, they are about to go to battle. Now, back to Fabian and Moet. I’m still confused on what they are doing. I don’t know why, but I’m not sure if Moet is all in. She did somethings that threw me off. I understand that she really didn’t have a choice in how her life played out, but I think she was actually feeling Joseph more than she should have been feeling him. I also think she started to enjoy it. Minus the last time. Fabian is in for a battle because I don’t think Joseph is going to go quietly. That dude is heartless. I don’t know how he could even look at Moet that way when he pretty much raised her. When and if he falls, I hope he falls hard. Fabian is cool but a little too arrogant for me. Once he finds out what Moet has been doing with Joseph, his little feelings are going to be hurt. He should have stayed with Chy. Joan has some difficult choices to make. She loves her husband, I get that. But Christian holds her heart. Now that he’s out, and ready to reclaim his family, I wonder if Joan is going to follow her heart or continue to live a lie and stay with what she’s familiar with. A lot of questions left to be answered. I’m excited about what’s ahead.

Review: This book was soooo good. Had me from the beginning to the end! The storyline was great, not the same story with the dope boys and killings. The ending was GREAT, not your average cliffhanger. I can’t wait for part 2!!!!

Review: First of all I’m very proud of you! You did your thing with this book. One of the things I loved most about this book is that you touched on a very important issue that people tend to overlook in society. This book can help girls in this situation realize that they can find a way to get out and get help just like Mo did. Fabian and Roosevelt are my babies! I loved Dice and Edwin too. Lord what is Dice gonna do now? Christian is gonna get his woman back lol. Joseph needs to stop being a damn hater and get his life together. I hate him. I can’t wait for part 2!
