Review: This story was so good! I thought I knew how this would go based off the tille alone but I was wrong. Being from Alabama and being familiar with the locations mentioned throughout the book were also an added bonus. Also having knowledge of how things go down behind prison walls, I felt the author did a great job of creating the scenario. I am sure there have been many C.O.’s that have gotten caught up. However, we just don’t hear these stories in real life. I don’t want to give any spoilers but I loved everything about this book. There was drama, humor, suspense and there was even a moment of sadness. I enjoyed all of the characters but Mariah was my favorite. She was a true OG and didn’t have a filter at all. She spoke what was on her mind no matter what! If you want a good, entertaining quick read, I recommend giving this book a try.
