Eboni James, who’s a sexy and feisty Business Professor at USC in Los Angeles, Ca, feels her life was finally back on track after losing both her parents in a car accident caused by a drunk driver. Eboni had a career she loved and was engaged to be married to her boyfriend that she had been dating for two years. Then Eboni fell into Jeremy Adam’s muscular arms and her life was never the same.
Jeremy Adams was a senior in college and a wide receiver on the USC football team. After being hurt in past relationships, Jeremy decided to focus on school and football. Then out of the blue, the woman of his dreams fell into his arms.
Will these two let go of their past issues and finally focus on their futures together? Or will insecurities and other outside forces interfere?
What inspired you to write The Caress of a Younger Man?
This was the very first book I released in 2009 and I started writing it because I wanted to write books that included women that were plus size and was looking for love. I wanted to bring out the issue that just because we are larger in size we still need love and deserve a happily ever after like anyone else. I decided to redo this story and add some spice and new twist to the storyline.
Is this a standalone novel or apart of a series?
It’s a standalone novel.
How did you come up with the title and storyline?
I came up with the title because of Eboni’s first encounter with Jeremy. From one caress, they both were never the same again. Eboni had everything in her life that she thought she wanted; a sexy fiancé, a great job, and friends that loved her. Then she fell, literally into Jeremy’s arms and it was a done deal.
Can you tell us a little about the main character(s)?
Eboni James is a feisty and sexy college professor, who has everything figured out in her life. After getting over the tragic loss of her parents, she is finally back on track and ready to live her life.
Jeremy Adams is a college student, who has had his life mapped out since junior high school. He always dreamed of playing professional football, and with his hard work and dedication, his dreams are about to come true.
Do you think the cover art of your e-book/novel will persuade readers to read the story inside?
Yes, I wanted a cover that showed the connection and chemistry between my two main characters.
How much of the book is realistic? Are experiences based on someone you know, or events in your own life?
The book is very realistic, because looking in the news, there are stories where college professors and students have these relationships. Then you have people that are so quick to say something negative, but in reality they both are consenting adults who found love.
What was the hardest part about writing this book?
The love scenes were the hardest because I wanted to bring out their attraction and chemistry in each of their interactions.
Is there a message in your e-book/novel that you want your readers to grasp?
It’s not your average romance story and I can’t wait for you to read it.
Is there anything else you would like your/the readers to know about your book?
Yes, I want everyone to understand that in this story these are two consenting adults and even though Eboni is plus size, she still gained Jeremy’s attention by just being herself.
