Don’t act like y’all don’t know somebody that’s living like the Joneses but don’t have their money! They are barely making ends meet but they have brand new cars and designer clothes and shoes. Keeping Up With. The Joneses explores all of that and more.
Welcome to Eden’s Lake where the wealthy, barely making ends meet and fake reside. I’m going to let you enter the world of people who don’t have it all. They pretend to be something they are not. Their attitudes are judgmental. They believe in material possessions. They can barely afford to keep the gas in those luxury cars. They are in so much debt. They are too busy trying to keep up with the Joneses, but they don’t have their money. Money doesn’t buy everything…or does it?
There is a new neighbor, Nuri Stevens, she does not belong in the community. She sticks out like a sore thumb. She has the means to live there but lacks the attitude. She has already learned the most valuable lessons in life. Within a few weeks of meeting her neighbors, Nuri’s understanding of the world turns upside down, and she finds herself fighting to prove their opinions wrong and the love of men who may not have the ability to return her the favor.
Will she get caught up in the drama and forget what life has taught her? Can Nuri find love with the two men who stole her heart? Can Nuri make her neighbors realize what’s important in life before it’s too late?

Review: My first time reading books from MZ. Candylicherr, and I must say she does not disappoint. Eden’s Lake was like watching a soap opera.. so many plot twists that kept you going “SAY WHAT”. The whole neighborhood was just strange. It almost reminded me of a Stephen king thriller. There is always one thing that ties everything together and that was Nuri.. She came into the neighborhood and the whole dynamics changed. Alliances were formed, some were broken many relationships were tested, and people’s outlook changed about life. What a suspense filled drama that keeps you guessing from beginning to end. I love how the characters engage the reader as if they are there watching all the drama unfold. Grab your copy!

Review: There is some books that you just have to say WOW to and this is one of them. It has all the good elements greed, love, power, and evil/good intentions. This book makes you want to smack them or hug them depending on which one you are reading. The first person view in this book is off the chart!!! Fully recommend this book!!!

Review: I really enjoyed this book. It’s written like a reality TV show and just as good. Makes me wonder what goes on in my neighborhood:) It’s not overly sexy and shines a light on different types of relationships.

Review: This book was very good! They were all competing with one another except Nuri. Waverly and Paisley were something else. I don’t want to give the book away but it’s drama filled.
