Synopsis: It’s been almost four years. Four years of abandonment, rejection, torture and no hope for Monet. That is until Fabian returns home only to learn his first love, his mother, is dying of cancer. He never once regretted leaving. It was either that or prison, so he chose the first one, moving on and finding love. Or so he thought.
Soon his path crosses with Monet. She’s more than just a pretty face with the body of a goddess. She’s his best friend, his confidant, the angel clipped from his life that fell from heaven. He just didn’t know it until her presence shook up his world and left him hungry for love— her love.
Unfortunately, Monet being one of his father’s top “girls” can’t see herself as lovable and his girlfriend Cheyenne or his father Joseph won’t make it easy for him to walk away.
Does Monet finally escape even if it comes with a price? Or will the life she chose to live and commit to destroy Fabian’s life, too?
Review: This was an okay story, started off a little slow to me.. Fabian was something else.. And who is this character C??? Hmmm . 25 years is a long time.

Synopsis: Until Death Do Us Part
Andrea has the perfect husband. He’s attentive, loving, affectionate, and not to mention sexy as ever. A man like Sonny, only comes around once in a lifetime. He was obviously raised with spectacular morals and values. Andrea could only imagine what his parents’ marriage must have been like.
In hindsight, that was exactly the problem. She had to imagine everything about Sonny’s past. He wasn’t from the area and Andrea was clueless about any relatives that he may have had. How could this man just appear from no where?
Although it struck her curiosity, Andrea decided not to dwell on the unknown. She had a successful man in front of her who gave her everything her heart desired. Perhaps there was a legitimate reason for keeping everything behind him. What harm could it do?

Synopsis:Unresolved Issues From Charlie's Past Can Lead to a Troublesome Future in this Urban Thriller!
Charlie constantly finds herself reminiscing about the good times at grandma's house. She recalled her brother and sister playing outside while she helped Grandma Rose pick greens from the garden. The delicious soul food, the gospel teachings, and getting eggs from the chicken coop were only a few of the fond memories that entertained Charlie.
Unfortunately for Charlie, those good memories were always plagued by the grim reality of her everyday existence. Although she strived to be everything that grandma taught her to be, Charlie knows that she’s definitely no angel. Instead of dealing with her childhood issues, she suppressed them with her work. No matter how hard she tried to deal with the cards she was dealt, Charlie’s soul-stirring recollections continue to interfere with her normal life. Uncertain of how to move forward from the dark drama, her only option is to confront the demons.

Review: This was a good but different book for me. I hated Paisley and Waverly. These families were really going through it. I think Leland and Carlos were my favorite couple. I like how the story ended. Good job Candylickherr...
