What would 19 year old Debbie want with a 31 year old bad boy like Doc? His rebellious ways and chocolate skin just drives her wild. However, things become a wild ride once she sees a darker side to him. (A darker side she can't see because love is blind; blind and DANGEROUS!!!)
Will Debbie leave Doc and save herself from being another victim of his murders? Or will she risk putting her life in danger because of his....CRAZY LOVE?
DON'T FALL TOO HARD, YOU MIGHT LOSE YOUR MIND!!
Review: First, I must start by saying this was a very quick read. I finished in one sitting of about two hours. I believe the book stated this story was inspired by actual events which I found to be very interesting. I gather names were changed to protect the victims but I would love to read a more in depth story. This story jumped right in showing how much of an evil man this “Doc Singletary” was but I would have liked to have known more about his past and upbringing. He appeared to have come from a close knit family but what happened to him to make him become a cold blooded murderer? Also it was difficult to gage an accurate timeline. Did the events occur over a period of days, months or years? Everything seemed to have taken place in a matter of days; including the marriage between Doc and Debbie. How long did they even know one another before getting married? Anyway, although interesting, the story left me with more questions than answers.
Real Love Is Not for Sale
Real Love Is Not for Sale

Synopsis: It’s been almost four years. Four years of abandonment, rejection, torture and no hope for Monet. That is until Fabian returns home only to learn his first love, his mother, is dying of cancer. He never once regretted leaving. It was either that or prison, so he chose the first one, moving on and finding love. Or so he thought.
Soon his path crosses with Monet. She’s more than just a pretty face with the body of a goddess. She’s his best friend, his confidant, the angel clipped from his life that fell from heaven. He just didn’t know it until her presence shook up his world and left him hungry for love— her love.
Unfortunately, Monet being one of his father’s top “girls” can’t see herself as lovable and his girlfriend Cheyenne or his father Joseph won’t make it easy for him to walk away.
Does Monet finally escape even if it comes with a price? Or will the life she chose to live and commit to destroy Fabian’s life, too?
Review: This was my first time reading anything from this author and I have to say I was not impressed. From the very beginning this book had was too many grammatical errors. There were misspelled words, omitted words, run on sentences and punctuation errors, just to name a few of the issues. This alone made it very difficult for me to read and I almost wanted to stop reading. I felt like I was reading the rough draft before the book made it to editing and review. It was also very slow in the beginning and I had difficulty remaining focused and even continue reading. I was halfway through the book before it started to get interesting. The story line was was somewhat different. The relationship between this young woman and who was basically a prostitute for the man who raised her and her one true love. Can't say I've read anything like it before. There was a lot going on and each character had their own back story. I think it would have helped if these stories had been outlined early on rather than details be explained later into the story. Although the story of Fabian and Monet is supposed to be the highlight, I am more interested in the love triangle between Edwin, Dice and Roosevelt. Hopefully this author can come back stronger in part two.

February 4, 2019
Synopsis: This book of poetry highlights the dangers and ways that toxic thought processes of rape apologists can affect rape survivors. With the “Me Too” movement, the silencing of survivors of molestation, rape and abuse, is being done away with. In this short book of poetry, you will find raw and uncut stories from survivor Bryanna Mone’t herself. In less than two hours of reading, you will agree that rape apologists can kiss you’re a** as well!
Review: This wasn’t my usual read. I understand it was her truth. I would have like to have read it in a story than poems. It was very sad to read. I hope someone that have experienced this can read it and get something from it. I couldn’t imagine going thru all of the things she did. I pray that some healing have happened in her life..
