Synopsis: Why do good girls always fall for the lames?
Meet Zayla - working full time while in school, obtaining her Master’s degree. Zayla has been in a relationship with Chauncey, the love of her life, for the last five years, and things couldn’t be better between the two. Or so she thinks.
Chauncey, the perfect boyfriend. Hard-working, solid, stand-up guy. He runs one of eight of his family's car dealerships and has the perfect woman in Zayla. But is Chauncey hiding a few secrets that could shatter Zayla’s world and put her in the most dangerous situation leaving her fighting for her life?
And then, there’s Chop - the leader of the Jacob’s clan. The businessman who only wants to expand his businesses and make sure his family is straight. Anything outside of that is considered a distraction to him. But what happens when these three lives intertwine in a way none of them could have ever imagined?
Will Zayla live to see her dreams come true? Will Chauncey be able to get himself out the mess he’s made? And where does Chop fit into all of this chaos? More importantly, who is he?
Review: This was an awesome read. So many twists and turns. Chop is the man. I love how he takes care of Zayla and is so protective. I need me a Chop in my life. There is plenty of drama to keep you turning the pages with a jaw dropping cliff hanger at the end. I love all the brothers and I hope that they find Chauncey and crack his skull. On to part 2.

Synopsis: Wilfor Marks is happy with his life. He has a supermodel wife, a six figure job, and an apartment in uptown Manhattan overlooking Central Park. Not bad for a short, shy, and balding guy who grew up dirt poor on the lower east side. He was happy as he could be until August Metzger came into his life. August knows things that he shouldn’t know and convinces Wil that he is indeed satan and wants Wil’s soul!
August proves to Wil he’s the reason Wil has everything he’s ever wanted and Wil realizes his whole life has been a set up. Just to pour salt into the wound August even proves to Wil that his wife is cheating on him and Wil’s daughter Railly isn’t his. At Wil’s lowest point, August promises Wil he will not be tortured for all eternity if he just signs away his soul now. Wil is ready to sign the deal when August says something that makes Wil think there is another way and convinces the devil he needs more time. August agrees and gives Wil a week to decide but, at the end of that week, Wil either signs the deal or his soul is tortured for all eternity.
Wil looks for help in the most likely place but when he realizes the church is lying to him, he has no choice but to turn to those in the wiccan community for help. As Wil tries to find a way to beat the devil’s deal he screws up at work and now he’s been fired too! With his wife cheating on him, and having just been fired, Wil must turn to the only other person who has met August and lived but who is Kasey Bane and why does it seem like August is protecting her?
Review: This was not my usual type of read. I was skeptical at first, but once I started reading, I really got into the story, and it had me trying to figure out what was going to happen next. I got drawn into the good versus evil plot. Plenty of suspense and surprises kept me turning the pages. It left me wondering if good really triumphed over evil. My only problem was the few grammatical errors that I came across while reading. Other than that, it was an enjoyable read.

Review: This book is filled with twists and turns and will keep you guessing. Drama and more drama. The suspense of not knowing who the mystery person is will keep you anxiously turning the pages. He is definitely a sick minded individual. It also touches on mental illness, which is a subject that is often swept under the rug. More importantly, he got help for his illness. I would recommend this read. My only problem with it is the fact that there aren't any chapters. It read like one continuous sentence, and got confusing at times.
