“Call me Miss B*tch. Yes, I screw married men, so what? I love my life. I worked damn hard to get to where I am. I’m a lawyer in a huge law firm and I pay my own bills, besides the ones they pay. Yes, I enjoy what I do and who I do.”
Tracy is single and living her best life in California. Coming from a small town in South Carolina, it’s a welcomed change of scenery. It’s also an escape from her past. She is no longer the small town girl with a broken heart; she’s the corporate attorney with several players on her team. Rich, successful players at that. Though her life is fulfilling to her, others may frown on her lifestyle but she couldn’t care less. Lake City is the furthest place from her mind. Besides the occasional two-day visits to see her parents, she has no intention of going back. Receiving a phone call from her mother in the middle of the night is not what she expected to bring her back home and face to face with the reasons she left. Family and drama ensue and she’s forced to confront the object of her broken heart.
Not only does she have to face her past, but an old love and an old friend vie for her affection. Will she be able to love again, or will the pain of her past force her to miss the blessing of her future? With Rico and Will both playing tug-a-war for her heart, can Tracy leave her kept lifestyle and settle for the love of one man?

Review: This book had me in tears at the end. I was really hoping she would do the right thing by Jazz. Another love story and happy ending.
Review: What a sweet story. Broken hearts, family secrets and the loss of loved ones turned Tracey’s heart cold. She ran from her roots and lived detached from family and love. But once she is forced to return home, secrets unravel, and so does her heart. She can’t change the past but she surely overcomes it, renewing relationships and finding two new loves in the process. I loved this story. It was heartfelt and I loved how the author revealed small details leaving the reader captured until the end. A must read; you won’t be disappointed.
Review: Tracy’s loss of her daughter devastated her and caused her to turn into a cold hearted woman. She slept with husbands without any shame because he own dad was that type of man and she was afraid to open herself up to love again. She went home for her dad’s funeral and reconnected with her child’s father Rico and her best friend Will. Will secretly had been in love with Tracy and went at her full steam ahead. He opened up her heart again to love and loved her past her hurt and pain.
