If I were to tell you I wrote a story about a May/December love affair between music and a saxophone named Her, would you believe me? I didn’t think you would but it’s true. Music has been here since the dawn of time. It’s been the melody of life, unfettered, free, and always waiting for us to-dare I say-tame it and guide it with our voices and with our instruments. The musician may have picked up the sax and breathed air into Her, but it was from the music, the jazz that was created, that love was found and where it grew.
Amina Perrin isn’t looking for love. In fact, she isn’t looking for anything. She’s got her yoga, her massage therapy and the community she serves, keeping her plenty busy. That is until she bumps into a stranger who may change her free-spirited mind.
Gabriel Slade is living the good life. Financially secure, nice condo overlooking the city, and the occasional “drink” with a beautiful woman—he has no intention on getting caught up, especially not with one so much younger than him, but here he is… getting all caught up and picking up a long forgotten saxophone he calls Her.
If you’re opposed to sweltering love scenes between two passionate adults, this book isn’t for you.

Review: I’ll say it once again, Aja gets better and better with each book. Loved it from the beginning to the very end and wanted more. Very well written and flowed so smoothly that I had finished it and didn’t even realize I was at the end. Loved these characters and storyline, this book was full of romance, love and just sexy. Let’s not get started on the sex scenes, they were so intense had me feeling as if I was experiencing it myself. Highly recommend this book as well as this series. Amazing job Aja and I can’t wait to see what’s next from you.
Review: This passionate tale takes you on the journey to love the heroine and hero didn’t even know they were ready to take. It grabs you and won’t let go like a MS hug. Reading this book was like going to your favorite musician’s concert. You know it’s gonna be good but you are still WOWed with the finished product. Every time I think I have Aja writing style figured out she blows my mind with her newest release. Brava to the author! Job well done ma’am. I can’t wait to see what she delivers next. Maybe we can get a story on Russell and his lost love.

Review: Good Old Soul was good for my soul. Author, Aja did an excellent job in incorporating the younger woman-older man trope in this contemporary love story. Gabe has to be one of the sexiest, coolest, laid back men I’ve read about in a long time. Amina was the perfect woman for him in spite of the age difference. I loved Amina’s parents. So down-to-earth and living life their way.
The story was sexy, steamy and romantic at the same time, and I liked it, along with the infusion of music. Aja’s stories get better and better, and I look forward to reading her next offering. I highly recommend this book; it will be good for your soul.
